RCIA is a journey unlike any other in this world. It is a journey from death to life, from darkness to light, from partial truth to the fullness of truth, from the kingdom of man to the kingdom of God. The fullness of this journey is found in one place on earth, The Roman Catholic Church. (Cf. Romans 5:21; John 8:3, 14:6; Luke 17:20-21)

Welcome Home classes will be offered for anyone interested in becoming a Catholic. Join us in a relaxed, open and spiritual environment. We will follow the school calendar. Our adult leaders follow the structure of our Catholic faith. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact the office at 315-232-2392.

The Diocesan Rite of Election will be celebrated on Sunday, February 25, 2018  at 2:30 pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Ogdensburg, New York.

Everyone is welcome to join our Catechumens and Bishop Terry La Valley for this momentous occasion.

Thinking about joining the Catholic Church but not sure where to start?

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) Inquiry stage is the starting place for adults who are thinking about entering the Catholic Church.

Are you a Catholic adult who never made your confirmation?

Don’t let that stop you from learning more about your Catholic faith and fully participating in Parish life.

All are welcome!

For more information contact Denise Wallace at (315) 523-1623 or ddwallace2011@gmail.com or call the Parish Center at (315) 232-2392.

Would you prefer to start your inquiry by listening to a CD? We have displays at both St. Cecilia’s and Queen of Heaven churches with many informative and inspiring talks that will help you learn more about the Catholic Faith.

Or, you can go online and order titles in CD or MP3 format. Here’s an example:

Church Beliefs Retired L.A. Deputy Sheriff, and a former Police Olympic boxing champion and USA kickboxing champion Jesse Romero presents core Catholic beliefs and explains how the power and truth of the Catholic Faith lie within God’s Word rooted in Sacred Scripture and the Church’s creeds and Magisterial Teachings.
